The Kingston SSDNow drive is built on the Intel X25-E Extreme SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) platform. It is essentially a re-labeled Intel X25-E SSD.

We've seen absolutely no performance difference between these drives and the Intel labeled drives. The E series drives are very fast, with 250MB/sec. read, 170MB/sec. write speeds.
